My Shack…… hmmm can you really call it a shack?
Compared to some on the QRZ website its what I would describe as “compact” 🙁 Just a small computer desk in the living room which measures barely 1m in width.
The desk was originally used for my gaming pc which I still use but not so much for gaming these days. It has now turned into a kind of listening station but being in the living room it is not in an ideal location and to think I want to take my amateur radio foundation license. Where would I put a transceiver? Apart from something small like a Yaesu FT-857D not much else is going to fit!
Anyway my current SWL’ing and scanning setup consists of…
- Airspy R2
- SDRplay RSP1
- DX Patrol
- RTL-SDR v3
- Flightaware Pro Stick
- Kiwi SDR (on order)
- Global AT-2000
- Yaesu FRT-7700
- Wellbrook ALA 1530S + Imperium Active Loop
- HyEndfed 3 band classic 100w (10m,20m,40m)
- Diamond D130 discone
- Crosscountry Wireless wideband active antenna
- SpyVerter Upconverter
- NooElec Ham It Up upconverter
- HyGain AR303 lightweight rotato
